Academic

Devi has taught theory and methods courses in screenwriting, documentary film, film studies, media studies, and visual anthropology at the University of Notre Dame, Central Washington University, and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (L.A. campus). She’s also given lectures and seminars and participated in panels at universities, conferences, and film festivals worldwide. She is a co-author of a chapter in Rebecca Gibson’s Gender, Supernatural Beings, and the Liminality of Death: Monstrous Males/Fatal Females and regularly contributes essays on film and feminism to Beyond the Bechdel and Iconema.
